Welcome to the Bily Renovation. My team and I will be happy to provide you with the professional construction skills you need to transform your house.
-Ruslan Bily
Most renovation horror stories start the same way. A homeowner picks a company, hands over a deposit, and then - silence. No updates. Tradesmen who don't show up. A kitchen that was supposed to take three weeks drags into three months. Costs creep up with no explanation.
I started Bily Renovation because I believed Edinburgh homeowners deserved better than that.
My name is Ruslan Bily, and I personally manage every project we take on. Not a site manager. Not a subcontractor you've never met. Me. I answer your calls, I send you daily photo updates, and I'm on site making sure the work meets the standard I'd want in my own home. We take on a maximum of four projects per month. Not because we can't handle more - because your renovation deserves our full attention.
That's why we created The Bily Home Transformation Method - a five-step process designed to give you a calm, predictable renovation experience from first visit to final handover.

Ruslan and team did a fantastic job renovating my living room refreshing the paint and laying the flooring along with a few extra jobs too. They were prompt and polite in all interactions. Would recommend without hesitation.

Bathroom floor repair in Edinburgh — new joists, vinyl flooring (heat-welded, sealed edges), shower drain replaced, toilet and shower glass removed and refitted. Fast, reliable, great communication throughout. Highly recommend.
Used Bily Renovation for updating and renovating a property I purchased that had not been updated in several decades. I used the team for removing wallpaper, plastering with render mesh and painting walls/woodwork. It was a really friendly team who were incredibly friendly and respectful toward the property, myself and the cat. Pictures show before and after for each of the key areas.
We hired Bily Renovation for a full kitchen remodel in Edinburgh — new units, worktops, flooring and full decoration. Ruslan managed everything from start to finish, the quality is outstanding and the whole process was stress-free. The Best kitchen renovation company in Edinburgh by far. 5 stars!
Bily Renovation did an outstanding job on my kitchen remodel and painting in Bonnington, Edinburgh. Incredibly responsive, kept me in the loop throughout, and handled every edge and finish with real care. Highly recommend to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality tradespeople!
Bíly Renovation recently completed our bathroom transformation to the highest standard within the agreed timeframe. Ruslan did an absolutely incredible job, painting our entire apartment to the highest quality standards. Extremely hard working, and we could tell that he spent a lot of time doing preparations and fixes up front. The final finish was perfect. Would strongly recommend his services and we will definitely be using him again in future!
Ruslan painted the outside of my shop to a lot of care perfecting it and I'm over the moon with the result.
Ruslan was so professional, he painted me whole apartment, so I was so surprised that it was no mess after painting and I didn't need to clean it. It was a great job and easy communication.
Bily renovation repaired and decorated two rooms for us. We had a badly cracked ceiling, peeling liner paper and holes in skirting boards. Ruskin and his team were very professional and knowledgeable and did an amazing job. We would definitely use them again and recommend them.
Bily Renovation did my internal walls: rendering and primer application to all walls and ceilings in a 2 bedroom flat. Outstanding job, fast and well priced. So impressed I've already commissioned them to do my floors too!
I recently engaged Ruslan Bily to decorate my flat in Stockbridge. I was away with work at the time and was very nervous about leaving my flat in the hands of someone I had never met! I needn't have worried, Ruslan did a fantastic job of decorating my flat - painting walls, ceilings and woodwork.
